Separable Design: The bearing consists of two main separable parts, the “cone” (inner ring, cage, and rollers) and the “cup” (outer ring). This makes mounting and adjusting highly efficient.
Tapered Raceways: The conical shape creates a linear contact patch that allows it to absorb high-stress combined forces.
Paired Mounting: Because it is a single-row bearing, it must generally be mounted in a mirror-image arrangement (such as O, X or tandem configurations) alongside a second tapered roller bearing.
